Most passengers battle jet lag a few times a year. We do it at least once a week. That’s why the goal isn’t to be superhuman—it’s to be strategic: decide when to adapt, when to “home-base,” and when to simply protect a core block of sleep and ride it out. Here I am sharing my experience and strategy to make your next long haul flight/ journey as comfortable as possible. You’ll find facts and practical tipps to get the max out of your holiday time.

As both a long-haul pilot and certified yoga teacher, I know how challenging true rest can be on our schedules.
Naps are unpredictable: sometimes you can’t fall asleep, sometimes you wake groggy, and sometimes they disrupt your sleep cycle especially across time zones. Yoga Nidra (NSDR) offers a predictable, science-backed way to rest deeply without needing to sleep. I use this personally on layovers, after long sectors, and whenever my body needs recovery but when sleeping isn’t helpful to catch up with my personal schedule.
